Learn spanish and immerse yourself in an adventure of fun and joy
❝Every culture shines in extraordinary ways and the first step to discovering is by LEARNING ITS LANGUAGE❞.
.
We are Gabriela and Victoria
We were born in Peru, a country with immense cultural diversity, a multitude of climates, flora, fauna, and even multiple languages. It serves as a daily reminder that richness lies within diversity and differences.
While living in Cusco, Peru, we learned from a very young age that a language is not only used to communicate with each other, but also a language reflects the history, culture, worldview, and diversity of peoples.
We witness the arrival of thousands of tourists to the beautiful city of Cusco to visit Machu Picchu, and we see firsthand the cultural exchange that takes place. We realize that learning a language is a wonderful bridge that connects people, enriches their experiences, and makes them feel at home.
For 20 years, we have been teaching Spanish, and we are proud to share more than just a language. We exchange our joy, our culture, and our Latin customs with you, who want to broaden your horizons.
Therefore, we know that when you learn Spanish, new opportunities will open up to you, and you will build bridges to other cultures, customs, joys, and a lot of diversity.
Just imagine! …

Just imagine to live it! …
I‘m Gabriela, founder of Kusikuy Spanish School.
I discover my passion in a hobby.
I exchanged the pipette and test tube for the love of teaching Spanish.
In love with science and mathematics, I studied Chemical Engineering
While in my sixth semester, I was offered the opportunity to teach Spanish as a way to earn extra income to support my studies. I took it as a fun hobby, never imagining that I would discover my true calling in teaching Spanish and the cultural exchange.
I absolutely love teaching Spanish!
Looking back after more than 20 years, I have learned so much from my students and from personal growth. I turned patience into my ally as I embraced the diverse learning speeds of individuals. Humility became my virtue as I recognized that knowledge is a lifelong journey.

Since my childhood, helping and teaching has been an integral part of my values. I fondly remember how I put on heels, glasses and began to teach my dolls and plushies.
I dreamed of becoming a teacher!
Pursuing that dream, I decided to study Education at the National University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco, specializing in Language and Literature.
When Gabriela proposed to me to teach Spanish at Kusikuy School… I loved the idea!
Since then, I have realized how much I enjoy teaching and interacting with people from all over the world. I am fascinated by learning about their thoughts, culture, exchanging ideas, customs, and even different learning approaches.
Because I strive to always give my best, continuous professional development is essential to me. Currently, I am finishing a specialization in foreign language teaching through the DELE program at the Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra University in Spain.
Let me share a bit more about myself.
My two wonderful children are my driving force and inspiration. They have taught me that teaching is so much more than just imparting knowledge. TEACHING is about motivating, resolving conflicts, helping, building trust, encouraging them to express themselves without fear, and making learning a delightful experience.
I firmly believe that the key to effective learning is creating a comfortable and trusting environment with a touch of fun.
In my classes, I strive to be attentive to the students’ needs, allowing them to progress at their own pace. I show genuine interest in their learning journey, aiming to ensure that their efforts and time invested return positive results.
5 personal things about me …
I live next to a lagoon surrounded by mountains, I enjoy taking walks with my family and it reminds me that life’s greatest pleasures lie in simple things.
Those, who had the opportunity to visit Cusco, Peru, and experience a cultural exchange, they know that one of my hobbies is cooking delicious food for the people I love. And where there’s food, dancing is always present. I feel that with dance, my Latin American blood speaks loudly, and I simply flow with the music. I absolutely love it!
